11:36 am: valentine's day!
I haven't written in this in a really long time...
Anyways.. umm let's see.
I'm moving soon. Not far away (still in Vienna), but my parents are finally able to buy a house. The house we're moving into is a couple of blocks behind Magruder's, and it's so cute! I'm so excited.
School is ok.. school-ish. We did, however, get the last couple of days off because of snow, so that was quite nice. I hope tomorrow is at least a delay.
Some stuff is pretty weird though. I really wish I knew what to do, because I constantly get myself into these kinds of situations, and I always need advice from the same people... so that's probably not good. The thing is that I always try and avoid these situations, but I don't realize I'm in them until it's too late.
So I'm sorry if I constantly need advice.

I miss a lot of people...
:(

special love to:
~Jane- I MISS YOU GURRRl
~Stephen- I have a surprise for you :) maybe your mom told you... but I don't want to spoil the surprise in case she hasn't.
~Abby- I can't want to see you in April!!!
~Jamie- everyone misses you here babe, but take care of yourself first. We rather you be safe <3

04:28 pm: There's some people...
that I miss terribly.

Like Abby, Stephen, Blake, Jane...

Abby, you have no idea how much I miss you. I know I can always call you, but it's not the same. I miss your hugs, your smile, and how you always found a way to make me feel better. COME VISIT ALREADY<3

Stephen, I'm so thankful for how helpful you've been lately. Certain things I couldn't have done without you, and because of them, I couldn't be happier. You are such a good friend, and I can always talk to you about anything. I miss you :(
Can't wait 'till our Christmas party!! :) <3

Blake, I know we didn't talk as much as I did with Stephen, Abby, or Jane, but I always felt a really close connection to you. It was so nice seeing you that one weekend with Kati, Stephanie and Amanda, but I need to see you again!

Jane...
Europe, I hope you don't mind, my girlfriend/lover/sister, fantabulous four, "hey jane, guess what?!," do you hear the people sing?, list of things not to show **, etc...
omg you're amazing. I miss you so much, even though I saw you about 2 weeks ago. Fantabulous four reunion will be soon, and it will be amazing<3

love you all :)

p.s. birthday t-minus 18 days! :D

We won the 5 open class (first place with an 87.25, which is amazing for only our second competition of the year) and came in third place for the day.

Well, this year started off on the wrong foot in many aspects.
Then I was hoping that homecoming would make up for that.

Worst night yet.

09:51 am: I hate
that I still have summer homework to do.
I have to write the two book reports (and finish the 10 pages I have left of the 2nd book), and do some spanish 4 packet- but the spanish won't be a hassle.

Band camp has been a whole lot of fun. Our show this year is King Lair, and the drill is really cool (and apparently harder than anything the JMHS band has ever done.) The music is alright; I liked last year's music better (hence why every time we have 16-count moves we sing the danza finale main theme), but the drill makes it worth it. My only real worry is that a couple of the rookies in my section are having a real hard time catching up with the other rookies, who are doing really well. My section leaders are really good, but very quiet, so basically I'm the one who corrects and helps the rookies who don't know what they're doing...

But other than band- stuff is basically perfect :)

Ok, so I'm going to write about this, cuz I really feel like ranting- I've been thinking a whole lot lately, and I could feel something missing from my life. Then I realized what- God. Back in the beggining of freshman year, I used to always pray and go to church and be really close to god, but this summer I kind of stopped praying as often and I haven't been to church in a while. It really makes me sad, because knowing that I'm close to him gives me a nice feeling of secutiry and like there's always someone there for me, no matter what. I know many of you have many different views on God; I am what you would call a cafeteria catholic. Actually, there are barely any catholics who are not cafeteria catholics. Oh, explanation- a cafeteria catholic is, of course, a catholic, but he/she does not follow/believe in every single idea of the church- they kind of pick and choose what they want to believe. Catholocism has many flaws (I'm not talking about views I oppose, but about things in the bible that contradict eachother), and I realize that. Both my parents, being catholic, of course baptized me under the catholic church, I had my first communion in the catholic church, and I was confirmed as a catholic. I do belive in the catholic religion, but I could argue endlessly many views that the catholic church has put out there as being true, when if you actually read the bible, opposes it.
Ok, so this is getting really off topic- the point is, I want to be close to God again. And I'm going to work on that.

I miss people in college :( and in Georgia and Conneticut. :(

Special love to: Jane. She needs it; and she knows why.

**Things are working out so much better than I could have imagined, and I'm really happy. It's different, but I like it. I no longer think of it as a loss, but as a gain of a new friendship. (and I LOVE making new friends =])

10:17 am: EUROPE.
So we're back. :)
I'll try and go over all countries short and sweet, cuz there's way too much to write.

London, England- sososo clean. There's no trash on the streets. We saw Windsor Castle, Luxemburg Palace, Big Ben, and we went on the Eye (the biggest ferris wheel in the world.)
I loved London, the people were nice, and the accent- oh my the accent- it was one of my favorite things. Although it normally would get annoying, the people (in our group) that would fake an accent just for fun (like Mason) didn't get annoying. It did once we were our of London, but not while in London. I roomed in London with Jane and Betsy, in which Jane and I had a butt load of fun. The room was tiny, and the showers sucked. But whatever.

Paris, France- I loved Paris. We saw the Iffel Tower, the Louvre (in which we saw the Mona Lisa), and we went on a boat ride during the sunset on the Seine River- that was my favorite part. I roomed with Jane, Amanda and Kristen- oh my that was fun (electrocuting chickens, ware wolfs, bats, etccc haha.) Our rooms were a lot better than the ones in London, so that was nice.

Crans Montana, Switzerland- I cannot stress enough how absolutely BEAUTIFUL it is. EVERY person I talked to from our group said that a) they were moving there, b) they were having their honeymoon there, and c) it was their favorite place our of all the places we went to in Europe. the scenery was so much more beautiful than in the pictures (which I will post later,) and everyone LOVED us. At our concert, EVERY person in Crans Montana (the town we were in) went to it, and we played 4 encores for them, they liked us so much. Then at all the little shops they had discounts for the VAM people. It was definitely my favorite. I roomed with Jane and Amanda, and we had a lot of fun. Our room was so cool- it wad fairly big, we had a balcony with the view of the Matterhorn (most famous mountain of the Alps,) and we had a bday in our bathroom. What is that? a butt cleaner. yeah, that was funny :p We went to the Matterhorn, and it was absolutely breath taking.
OH, and also: FREDDY MERCURY STATUE. :)

Liechtenstein- we were there for about 1 hour. It's one of the smallest countries in the world- it seriously is the size of a city. All we did there was eat, and it was ok.

Seefeld, Austria- After Switzerland, we were all like "ok, well, we want to go back to Switzerland lol" but it was very pretty. The town was cute and small, and we had plenty of free time to walk around and such. We went to Innsbruck, in which there's s Swarovski store- AKA this AMAZING crystal store. I bought a beautiful necklace, and although really expensive, it was so worth it. Anyways, I roomed with Jane and these 2 girls, Stephanie and Lauren. It was fun, and our room was pretty big.

Venice, Italy- sososo fun. We were only there for one day, and I wish it would have been more- it was so cool. As most of you know, the city's streets are all water canals, and people travel by boat. Yes, their canals ARE theire sexage systems, but NO, it does not smell. They explained to us how the tides of the water help with moving the sewage, so in the end it doesnt smell bad. But I think pigeons outnumber the people, there's so many.

Rothenburg, Germany- such a cute town. We had 100% free time, other than our concert and the party on the last night. I roomed with Jane, Amanda, and Kristen, and oh man we had so much fun. Our room was pretty small, and the shower sucked, but we still managed to have sososo much fun.

Well, there's so much more about each country I could say, but then this entry would never end. I'm glad to be back, but it feels SO weird not to wake up at 4 or 5 am in a room with 3 other girls, showering and complaining about the breakfast at a ridiculious time in the morning. I'm really going to miss it.

oh, but I decided I'm going on this trip again. :)

06:20 pm: Europe Music Rehearsal
8 hours.
It's a lot.

but my dad is out of town for the next 3 weeks, meaning he'll be gone the whole time I'm gone, leaving my mom and brother home alone for 2 weeks.
that scares me.
I know we have Ms. Nancy, but my help is constantly needed when my dad is out of town, and I just hope they'll be ok.
